seamless

i’ve got a one way ticket and the money to go back
didn’t know what to expect ahead of me
if we could break it all down
i would show you around
or you could go instead of me
you could fly like a dove
see the world from above
and it could be
like not to be
we could turn our bodies of bones
into irregular drones
and under my skin
or way deep in
where i had never ever been
i could see blindly
remind me
there’s more than we can see
from head to toe to
where i’ll be
unnerving
surfing on the waves of the sky
why the earth so deep
too steep
to land on
stand on
mandatory weight
to be
too early
time
not mundane
catch me i am fainting
bodily
no sense
all density
spread
the word in poetry
that’s where i want to be
my body like a galaxy
free alone
not lonely

owls in my dreams
turning their heads
seamless
wisdom
nightly eyes
singing in disguise
spinning
lingering in limb-like trees
buzzing bees
like time bombs
like i could run
into you
i do
when i am through
with me
you see
here’s where i want to be
my body like a galaxy
free alone
not lonely
